The third and final book of the series is by far the best one yet. It starts with Darrow in dire straits, with no hope of escape. It gets right into the action and has some of the best fight sequeneces of the series. When I got about 3/4 of the way through the book, I just couldn’t put it down. I ended up staying up until 4am to finish the book as it was just too good to put down. This is one of the best series I have ever read and Pierce did a great job at creating a huge world with advanced technologies as well as intriguing politics between the warring factions. The relationship that Darrow and Sevro have is what I think we should all strive for in our lives. No matter what happens, they always came back to even ground and kept their relationship strong. The ending to this was bitter sweet as I didn’t want it to end, and I got my with. Pierce announced another title set in the same universe “Iron Gold” that will pick up right after the end of Morning Star and will deal with the repurcussions of what happened. The book is slated to be released in August 2017 and I can’t wait!
